From hardship into captivity

Today we would like to tell you a story that touched us deeply and that moved us to do something. It is about a family plagued by poverty and abandonment. The father has abandoned the family and the mother, who never attended school, works in a bar to feed her four children.

One of the twin girls, aged 11, was sold by her father to another family to serve as a laborer. Through the intervention of the police and the support of our organization "Second Chance" we were able to bring the girl back to her mother.

The mother and her children live in an environment where drug use is commonplace. In order to give them a better future, we managed to get three of the children into a state school where they can complete the fourth grade within one to two years. The youngest son can start school normally.

But to support this family and many others in similar situations, we need your continued help. With your help, we can save more children from being sold as labor and provide them with an education. Please help us to give these children a future. Your donation, big or small, will help us reach this goal.

Thank you for pitching in!
